Silvia was born in Uruguay to a Uruguayan mother and a Spanish father. At 8 months of age her life as a nomad began with her father’s assignment to Argentina. She then lived in Spain, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, and is currently finishing her B.A in the United States. Her high school years in Chile in the International School Nido de Aguilas, introduced her to the culture of Santiago while she wrote for the school’s newspaper; her experience in Chile also included meeting and falling for a Chilean who is now her husband. She currently writes for Revolver as she visits her extended family in Santiago and Valparaiso.
