After more than a six-year stint studying and working in Information Technology, Rich found that he hated computers and the people that used them. With this in mind, he decided to drop the lot in favour of sunnier climes in the south-east of Spain. Here, he learnt to teach English and ride a proper mountain bike over real mountains, thus coming to the conclusion that Spain was not all just Benidorm, stag nights and over-priced Sangria.
Coming from Bristol, he loves trip-hop, but doesn’t quite get drum ‘n’ bass. He is an avid fan of hardcore punk, ska and good comedy and so hopes that Santiago comes up trumps in its art scene. If not, he always has his tiny collection of Peep Show and Monty Python DVDs.
In between planning the next embarrassingly silly activity to teach English with and writing for magazines in Britain, he sometimes sits himself down to scribe for Revolver.
