Exchanging the balmy desert nights of Phoenix, Arizona for Santiago’s central heating-less icebox abodes may have been a bit of a transition for this recent college graduate when she arrived in September, but Santiago and its fast-talking inhabitants won her heart over before she could say cachaipo'. After completing her amazingly enriching year-long stint as a volunteer working with children in social risk, she had fallen inconsolably in love with Chile and decided to extend her stay in Santiago for as long as possible.
She considers coming across good food in Chile a coup and gets the utmost pleasure in telling others about her culinary finds!
